Vanderbilt freshman quarterback Jared Curtis will start Saturday against NC State after accounting for three of the Commodores' four touchdowns in last weekend's 35-26 win over Delaware.

Vanderbilt true freshman Jared Curtis will make his first career start against North Carolina State this weekend, per head coach Clark Lea. He shined off the bench against Delaware last week, completing 14-of-22 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown. 

Curtis is a five-star recruit ranked the No. 1 pocket passer in the country by ESPN. Senior Blaze Berlowitz started the first two games for Vanderbilt, with Curtis scheduled to rotate in for snaps.
