Sources: The Coastal Athletic Association is in deep discussions with Fairfield University about joining the league. The CAA has extended an invitation for full membership to Fairfield. While the deal is not finalized, Fairfield is expected to depart the MAAC/Metro in the near future for the CAA.
This move would up the CAA to 14 full-time members.
