Rashon Burno will not return as Northern Illinois coach

Rashon Burno will not return as coach at Northern Illinois next season after five seasons in charge of the Huskies, the school announced, and the former DePaul guard said in a statement that "I have decided to step away to explore other opportunities."

Northern Illinois has fired coach Rashon Burno after five seasons, sources told ESPN's Jeff Borzello. The Huskies went just 6-30 in league play over the last two seasons.
