Davon Marshall, who made 4 of 7 3-pointers, also had 16 points for Liberty (5-6) and Tomasz Gielo added 11.

Liberty jumped out to an early lead, but Howard came back to take the advantage 10-9 on a layup by Ausar Madison and free throw by Prince Okoroh.
