The offensive game for both the Keydets and the Fighting Camels flourished in the second half as the lead seesawed leading into the final minutes of the game. Campbell's Leonard got inside for two points tying the score at 84 and sending the game to overtime.

Andrew Ryan's 3-pointer with under a minute left in OT put Campbell up 92-90. VMI countered in the final 25 seconds with a missed dunk and two missed treys by Jordan Weethee followed by an unsuccessful Glasgow layup, and Campbell picked up the win.
