Murray hit 7 of 14 shots from the field, scoring 18 points with 12 boards, and Truss scored 16 points with 11 rebounds as the Blue Hose (6-12, 2/3 Big South) out-rebounded Longwood 46-30 and scored 36 points in the paint with Nwogbo out with an injured thumb.

Quincy Taylor scored 23 for Longwood, including back-to-back 3-pointers to pull the Lancers within 69-67 with 12 seconds left.

But Terry iced the win with a pair of free throws with 10 seconds to play.
