New faces help Texas A&M get past New Mexico 64-51

Jalen Jones added 13 for the Aggies (4-1), who shot 62 percent from the field in the second half.

It was the first game for House, a transfer from Houston, who was just approved to play this season by the NCAA on Friday.

The Lobos (3-2) seemed to be in control early, but were undone by 16 turnovers. New Mexico's shooting also deteriorated in the second half and was just 34 percent for the game.

Deshawn Delaney led New Mexico with 13 points. Hugh Greenwood added 10.

In all, the Aggies had three new players on the floor Sunday.

Joining House were freshman Tonny Trocha-Morelos, from Cartagena, Columbia and sophomore Dylan Johns, from England.

Texas A&M didn't take its first lead of the game until the 13:41 mark of the second half, on a dunk by House.

The Lobos weren't able to respond after that.

New Mexico had the early offensive flow, using an 11-0 run to open up a 22-10 lead late in the first half.

Delaney had six of his 10 first-half points during the spurt.

Texas A&M trailed by just five at the break, though, after getting 18 points from its reserves in the opening 20 minutes.
