Southern Miss rallies to beat FIU 66-60
Jackson finished with 7-of-14 shooting from the field for the Golden Eagles (5-11, 2/3 Conference USA). Keljin Blevins and Robert Thomas III added nine points apiece. The team averaged 44.9 percent shooting from the field and 72.7 percent from the line.
Jackson and Thomas hit back-to-back 3-pointers to cap a 22-12 surge to open the second half that gave Southern Miss a 49-43 lead with 9:41 to play. Blevins sank a jumper to extend the Golden Eagles lead to 56-46 with 6:08 left and they cruised from there.
