Illinois State hands Drake its 9th straight loss, 76-64

Justin McCloud scored 12 with four 3-pointers, DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell added 10 points and Tony Wills had a career-high seven assists for the Redbirds (12-10, 6-3 Missouri Valley), who shot 15 of 28 from long distance.

Drake led 15-13 on Ore Arogundade's 3-pointer, but the Redbirds hit three straight 3-pointers and a dunk and surged to a 40-35 halftime lead.

Illinois State led by 20 on McCloud's 3-pointer with 13:46 left in the second half and cruised from there.
