Fitchett, Bradley lead D-III Roanoke, upset NC A&T 94-87

Roanoke took a nine-point lead at the half and traded punches with NC A&T (0-3) in the second half to come away with the win.

The Maroons shot 50 percent from the field, converting 31 of 62 attempts, including 11 of 29 from beyond the arc, and knocked down 21 of 29 free throw attempts.

Bruce Beckford converted 16 of 22 shots from the field to score 38 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the Aggies. James Whitaker added 15 points.

North Carolina A&T heads to Uncasville, Connecticut to play Buffalo in the Springfield bracket of the 2015 Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday.
