Santa Clara outlasts Valparaiso in double overtime 87-80

Matt Hauser added 17 points and Nate Kratch 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Broncos (6-7), who won for the first time away from home.

The score was tied at 78 with 1:11 left in the second overtime before the Broncos outscored the Crusaders 9-2 the rest of the way.

Valpo had a five-point lead with five minutes left in regulation before Santa Clara outscored the Crusaders 7-2 to tie the game at 70 with neither team scoring in the final 1 1/2 minutes. It was 74-all after the first overtime.
