Robertson's OT 3s help UNC Asheville top Gardner-Webb 90-85
Robertson made consecutive 3s to give UNC Asheville an 86-81 lead with 53 seconds remaining. Gardner-Webb pulled to 88-85 with 10 seconds left, and had a chance to get closer but Liam O'Reilly missed a free throw, and UNC Asheville's Kevin Vannatta grabbed the rebound. Ahmad Thomas sealed it with a dunk.
MaCio Teague scored 25 points for UNC Asheville (9-6, 1-1 Big South Conference), which bounced back from losing three straight, all by three points or less. Thomas added 16 points and nine assists. Vannatta had 11 points and six assists.
Jamaal Robateau and Laquincy Rideau scored 16 points apiece for Gardner-Webb (7-8, 0-2). David Efianayi added 15 points.
