Washington's 26 points powers Iona to 93-80 win over Marist

Sam Cassell Jr. hit four 3-pointers and scored 19 points with seven assists, Rickey McGill finished with 18 and 10 rebounds, and E.J. Crawford added 15 points for Iona (9-5, 2-1 MAAC).

The Gaels shot 55.7 percent from the field and dished out 21 assists on their 34 total field goals.

Ryan Funk scored 17 and Isaiah Lamb had 15 to lead the Red Foxes (4-10, 1-2). Marist hit 15 3-pointers total, with Funk and Lamb each contributing five.

The Red Foxes led 64-61 with 12:48 left but a 16-0 Gaels run, capped by a Jon Severe layup, put them up 77-64 with 8:14 to go. After a brief reprieve, a Crawford 3 with 6:59 remaining started an 11-0 Iona run which put the Red Foxes away.
