Princeton edges Columbia for 11th straight victory
Princeton (15-6, 8-0 Ivy) had a 20-point lead early in the second half but the Lions (10-11, 4-4) came back to get within two after a 3-pointer by Luke Petrasek followed by a jumper from Mike Smith with 1:20 go. Columbia got the ball back after a turnover with 7.6 seconds left. Princeton, with fouls to give, fouled the Lions three times to get the clock down to 3.1 before Columbia's Jake Killingsworth was wide with a 3-pointer.
Myles Stephens added 15 points and Devin Cannady 11 for Princeton, which shot 68 percent in the first half but finished at 46 percent. Pete Miller reached 100 career blocks, the fifth Tiger to do so.
