Williams and Upshaw combined to score 10 of Middle Tennessee's first 12 points and the Blue Raiders cruised to a 51-29 halftime lead. The duo finished 18 of 27 from the floor.
Antwain Johnson added 17 points for Middle Tennessee, which made 55.7 percent of its field-goal attempts and had 23 assists.
