David Jenkins Jr.'s jumper put South Dakota State up for good, 11-10, and the Jackrabbits led 55-30 at halftime after shooting 71.4 percent from the floor and scoring on 28 of their 39 possessions.

Marlon Stewart, Dale Jones and Geno Crandall each hit 3s and North Dakota closed to 57-39 early in the second half, but Reed Tellinghuisen scored five in a 10-2 run and the Jackrabbits led by as many as 37 the rest of the way.
