Tyson Ward scored 16 points with eight rebounds and seven assists, Jared Samuelson scored 12 on fours 3s, and A.J. Jacobson added 12 points for the Bison (14-16, 5-9), who won for the first time in Omaha since Jan. 8, 2015 to sweep the season series against the Mavericks.

With their fourth straight loss, the Mavericks (9-21, 4-10) become the No. 7 seed in next week's Summit League Tournament and face No. 2 seed South Dakota.

Down by as many as 19 in the first half, Omaha closed to 49-42 on Daniel Norl's 3-pointer, but Samuelson hit back-to-back 3s and the Bison led by 20 on Ward's 3 with 4:35 left..

The Bison hit seven 3s and shot 62 percent from the field for a 46-33 halftime lead.
