Swain leads Yale over Siena 100-89 in 3OT
Swain's 3 with four seconds left in regulation tied the score 72-all and forced the first overtime period. Then, with Yale trailing 80-78 in the first OT, Swain drew a foul and went to the line to sink both free throws, tying it at 80 with 17 seconds left to send the game into the second overtime.
Paul Atkinson added 21 points and nine rebounds for the Bulldogs (3-2). Eric Monroe had 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Matthue Cotton added 13 points.
In the third overtime, a 3-pointer by Cotton put the Bulldogs on top for good, 91-88, with 2:16 remaining.
