Lucas shot 8 for 16 (4 for 9 from 3-point range) and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line for the Wolf Pack (26-6, 13-5 Mountain West Conference). Kenan Blackshear added 16 points while going 5 of 10 and 6 of 6 from the free-throw line while he also had nine assists. Nevada took the lead with 19:30 remaining in the first half and did not relinquish it. Lucas led his team in scoring with 15 points in the first half to help put them ahead 39-31 at the break. Nevada used an 11-2 second-half run to come back from a one-point deficit and take the lead at 58-50 with 7:00 left in the half before finishing off the victory. Lucas scored 11 second-half points.
