Alden Applewhite shot 5 of 12 from the field, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 4 from the line to finish with 14 points, while adding 11 rebounds. The Eagles extended their winning streak to eight games.
The Chanticleers (8-7, 1-2) were led in scoring by AJ Dancier, who finished with 22 points and six rebounds. Coastal Carolina also got 21 points and four assists from Josh Beadle. Rasheed Jones also had 14 points.
