  • 25': Pirlo is standing over it...
  • 25': Pirlo's effort is straight down the middle. Easy for Cech. Should have done better.
  • 26': Oscar with some quick feet to win the foul. Lovely play.
  • 27': Mata sends in the free-kick but Buffon does well to claim it.
  • 28': Chelsea with a better spell of possession now.
  • 28': But Ramires gives it away cheaply and Juve are on the attack.
  • 29': Ivanovic does well to stop Marchisio in his tracks though.
  • 30': Marchisio tries to play in Lichtsteiner down the right but Cole stretches to intercept.
  • 30': Chelsea break and Oscar eventually tees up Ramires for the long-range shot but it flies over.
  • 30': As long as Chelsea have Mata, Hazard and Oscar they always look dangerous on the break.
  • 30': A let off for Chelsea as Ivanovic fails to cut out a ball in from the right but Asamoah is unable to control it and it runs out for a goal kick.
  • 31': Lovely play between Vucinic and Marchisio who eventually play in Lichtsteiner on the right but he is unable to pull the cross back.

  • 40': Chelsea break and Bonucci brings down Hazard.

  • 45': And that is half time...
  • 45': One minute of injury time to be played...
  • 45': What a first half then. Juventus have been impressive, causing Chelsea's defence all sorts of problems and could have scored more. Chelsea haven't been at their best but when they have managed to break they have looked a real danger. Could have scored themselves.
  • 45': It's 2-2 in group E's other game between Nordsjaelland and Shakhtar Donetsk.

  • 49': Vidal picks the ball up on the left and turns Cole before firing an effort in at goal but it is straight at Cech.
  • 49': A penalty shout turned down for Juve. It looked like Cahill pulled Vucinic back but not given.
  • 49': Chelsea break down the other end and Mata does well to win the free kick in a really dangerous position.
  • 50': Mata and Luiz stand over it.
  • 51': Mata hits it straight into the wall.
  • 52': This is better from Chelsea. They need to keep this momentum going.

  • 58': Pirlo with a shot from range and he brings out a good save from Cech.
  • 58': Cech has been a very busy man tonight.
  • 58': Quagliarella does well to beat the offside trap and tries to round Cech but the keeper does well to close him down and block the shot.
  • 58': Bonucci gets the header in from the resulting corner but he heads over.
  • 59': <img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> Moses comes on for Azpilicueta. Like for like then but offering far more attacking options.

  • 61': <img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL FOR JUVENTUS. VIDAL.</b>
  • 61': Vucinic does well to play in Asamoah down the right who then pulls it back across to Vidal waiting on the edge of the box. The midfielder calmly slots it past Cech.
  • 62': You have to say it looked like coming.
  • 63': A real mountain to climb for Chelsea now. They have Torres on the bench remember.
  • 64': Chelsea try to force their way through Juve's defence. Ramires with the shot but it is blocked.
  • 65': Chelsea have to really go for it now. The only thing is they will leave themselves exposed and you could see Juve getting another. They have looked that dangerous.
  • 66': Chelsea have created little this half. A credit to Juve's organisation at the back.
  • 67': Torres is warming up. It can't be too long until we see him come on.
  • 67': <img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> Lichtsteiner makes way for Caceres as Juve look to tighten things up at the back. The winger put in a good shift.

  • 71': <img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> Torres comes on for Mikel.
  • 71': Whether he plays well or not Torres will give Chelsea more of a presence up front.
  • 72': Juve are passing it around with real confidence now. Asamaoah eventually finds room for a shot but it sails wide.
  • 72': Vucinic goes for a long-range shot but it sails wide.
  • 73': Chelsea really need to get a hold of this game. They've been almost non-existent in this second half.
  • 73': It's all Juve at the moment. Chelsea struggling to even get hold of the ball.
  • 74': That should have been three. Caceres picks out Vucinic from the right but the striker hits it over from close range. A let-off for Chelsea.
  • 75': Chelsea try to break but Torres loses it.
  • 76': Hazard picks out Moses who goes for the shot but it canons off a Juve defender.
  • 76': <img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/yellow_card.jpg" height="15"> Ramires booked for a late challenge on Chiellini.

  • 80': Hazard sends it in but it is straight at Buffon.
  • 81': Moses with some nice work down the right to beat Chiellini sends in a dangerous ball but nobody is able to meet it.
  • 82': Oscar sends in a ball from deep but it is poor and lands straight in Buffon's arms.
  • 82': <img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> Vucinic comes off for Giovinco.
  • 83': Giovinco with his first touch fires in an effort at goal but it sails over.
  • 84': Chelsea come forward but Ramires loses control of the ball and it runs clear.
  • 84': Oscar threatens on the edge of the box but he tries to turn and loses his footing.
  • 84': It really doesn't look like Chelsea's night.
  • 85': <img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/yellow_card.jpg" height="15"> Marchisio goes into the book for a sloppy challenge.
  • 86': Cahill does well to win a corner after receiving a throw in from Cole.
  • 86': Vidal heads off for another corner.
  • 87': Buffon punches the second corner clear.
  • 87': Asamoah scissor kicks Mata's delivery clear.
  • 88': Mata sends in another ball but Buffon is there to claim it this time.

  • 90': Three minutes of injury time to play.
  • 90': And there goes the final whistle...
  • 90': A disappointing night for Chelsea. They looked a real threat on the break in the first half but were barely able to cause Juve a problem with the second. The home side were able to sit a little deeper with a goal to their name and credit to them as they defended well. They were equally good going forward and punished Chelsea on two more occasions.
  • 90': With Shakhtar winning they are definitely through. Juve are now in the driving seat for the other qualification spot, with Chelsea needing them to lose to Shaktar and see off Nordsjaelland themselves.
  • 90': So a dramatic night of Champions League football then. Hope you enjoyed it and see you next time.
