Go Ahead Eagles won their first ever Dutch KNVB Cup on Sunday, coming from behind to score a last-gasp equaliser before going on to win 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw with AZ Alkmaar.
Ajax Amsterdam's poor season went from bad to worse after they suffered one of the biggest shocks in their history with a 3-2 loss to fourth-tier amateur side USV Hercules in the last 32 of the Dutch Cup on Thursday.
Fabio Silva struck the winning penalty as PSV Eindhoven defended their Dutch Cup title with a 3-2 shootout victory against Ajax Amsterdam.
