Leading by two at the break, the Cougars broke it open early in the second half with an 11-2 run capped by Presley's bucket to make it 37-28 with 13:43 left. Utah cut the gap to 55-50 at 3:29 after a 9-2 burst but Washington State clinched it by scoring six of the game's final eight points.
