Ana Llanusa and Liz Scott added 15 points for the Sooners (18-4, 8-3 Big 12 Conference), who opened league play with a 98-77 win over the Mountaineers. Nevaeh Tott scored 12 points and Madi Williams had 12.
The Sooners, who entered the game third nationally in scoring (86.1) and assists (20.4), had 28 assists on 36 baskets, their fourth game with more than 25 assists.
Ja'Na Quinerly scored 24 points and Madisen Smith added 12 for the Mountaineers (14-7, 5-5), who were outrebounded 41-26 and outscored 22-8 on second-chance points.
The Sooners hit 7 of 14 3-pointers and shot 61% overall in racing to a 55-37 halftime lead. Most of the damage was done in the first quarter when they went 14 of 20 with four triples for a 32-16 lead.
Oklahoma took charge with an 11-0 run over the last 21/2 minutes of the quarter. Vann and Williams both had a pair of baskets and Taylor Robertson, who recently became the NCAA career leader in 3-pointers, hit the 508th of her career.
Quinerly kept the Mountaineers in the game with 12 points in the second quarter.
Tot, Llanusa and Robertson hit 3-pointers coming out of the half and Llanusa's layup capped the 13-0 run that made it 68-37. The Sooners had a 12-0 in the first quarter until West Virginia closed the game with a 10-2 run.
Oklahoma, which started the day tied for second in the Big 12, plays at Baylor on Tuesday when the Mountaineers go to Oklahoma State.
