Bundesliga side Heidenheim retained their spot in the top flight as Léo Scienza struck deep into stoppage time to seal a dramatic 2-1 win at Elversberg.

Bundesliga club Heidenheim scored twice in three minutes in the second half to come from two goals down and snatch a 2-2 draw against visitors Elversberg in the relegation playoff first leg on Thursday.

One Hamburg SV fan suffered "life-threatening injuries" and 19 more were seriously injured in celebrations after the team's return to the Bundesliga, local fire services said on Sunday.
