The 2026 NWSL season will mark the debuts of the Boston Legacy FC and Denver Summit FC, bringing the league to 16 clubs.
The NWSL has teams that are building stadiums, signing stars and spending money. Meanwhile, other teams, well, aren't doing any of that.
The Portland Thorns announced Thursday that striker Sophia Wilson has been removed from the maternity leave list ahead of the 2026 NWSL season and is now available for selection.
Angel City FC forward Sydney Leroux teased a return to the field in a social media post on Tuesday after missing all of last year with an excused absence.
Trinity Rodman is "fine" and fully training with the United States women's national team, USWNT head coach Emma Hayes said on Tuesday, easing fears that Rodman had reinjured her back in Sunday's 2-0 win over Argentina.
