Pierson, Williams help Tulsa beat San Antonio 88-61

Skylar Diggins finished with 13 points for the Shock (4-1), off to their best start in franchise history with a record four-game winning streak.

The Shock shot 51 percent two days after an 11-point win in San Antonio. Pierson went 9 for 13 from the field, and Courtney Paris had 13 rebounds.

Williams and Pierson, who combined for 23 points in the first half, had all the points in Tulsa's closing 9-2 run that produced a 45-29 lead at the break.

San Antonio (0-4), off to its worst start since going 0-5 in 2005, was led by Jia Perkins and Sophia Young-Malcolm with 20 points each.
