Tamika Catchings hits winner for Fever on night she becomes 2nd all-time scorer

Shavonte Zellous scored a season-high 19 points for Indiana (9-8). Catchings finished with 15 points, including a first-quarter 3-pointer to move her past Diana Taurasi on the scoring list. Shenise Johnson added 13 points for the Fever. The game was originally scheduled for July 18 but travel issues for Indiana forced the postponement.

Kelsey Bone led Connecticut (8-8) with 14 points. Alex Bentley scored just three points to end her string of 11 straight games in double figures.

Bone's 3-point play, followed by Camille Little's 3-pointer, gave the Sun a 73-71 lead with 1:51 remaining.

Indiana took an 11-point lead late in the third quarter before Connecticut went on a 7-0 run to get within 56-52. The Sun started the fourth quarter on an 11-3 spurt, capped by Bone's layup for their first lead of the game at 65-63. Erlana Larkins answered with a layup for Indiana's first field goal of the fourth at the 3:09 mark.

Bone tied the score at 67 with a layup with 1:10 left in regulation. Those were the only points for either team in the final three minutes of the fourth.
