Stewart helps Storm beat Stars 78-68 to end 3-game skid
Jewell Loyd added 15 points and Crystal Langhorne had 12 points and eight rebounds for Seattle (7-12).
San Antonio (5-14) only led twice, 28-26 on a Sydney Colson basket midway through the second quarter and 38-37 with two minutes left in the first half after a Moriah Jefferson 3-pointer.
Stewart quickly put the Storm, ranked 10th in the AP power poll, back on top and Noelle Quinn had a 3-point play, her only points of the game. Quinn then found Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis for a 3 and Stewart had two free throws as Seattle closed the half with a 10-0 run to lead 47-38.
Jefferson, the second pick in the 2016 draft after Steward, led 12th-ranked San Antonio with 16 points and Haley Peters had 15.
Seattle had three players with five assists and the Storm finished with 25 assists on 30 baskets.
