The Fever had a 19-9 start the third quarter that stretched their four-point halftime lead to 71-57. The sixth-ranked Wings (7-8) answered with a 10-2 run to end the quarter within six and rallied again late in the fourth quarter when Aerial Powers cut it to 90-87, finishing a contested layup off the glass with 52 seconds to go.
January, Tamika Catchings and Erica Wheeler added 15 points each for Indiana, and Tiffany Mitchell had 12.
Karima Christmas led the Wings with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Odyssey Sims had 18 points, and Glory Johnson 15.
