Jackson's 25 leads Arkansas' comeback over Lady Vols 64-59
Jessica Jackson scored 25 points, and the Razorbacks (7-10, 2-2 Southeastern Conference) fought back from down 11 points at halftime to earn only the third win in school history over the Lady Vols (11-5, 2-2).
"We took down a program tonight," Arkansas coach Jimmy Dykes said. "They've been a dominant program for 40 years, and they will be going forward. ... It's a very big moment for our program."
Devin Cosper added 11 points and Jordan Danberry 10 for the Razorbacks, who scored 27 points off a season-high 24 turnovers by Tennessee.
The loss is the second in the last three games for the Lady Vols, who were led by 14 points from Diamond DeShields while Mercedes Russell added 10 points and 11 rebounds.
"We just got outworked in the second half," Tennessee coach Holly Warlick said. "... We just didn't have it tonight."
The Razorbacks last victory over Tennessee came in Knoxville in 2012, ending an 18-game winning streak in the series for the Lady Vols. Their only other win came in Fayetteville in 1996, and they appeared on their way to another loss while trailing 32-21 at halftime.
Arkansas pushed its lead to 55-44 with less than two minutes remaining, but DeShields connected on a 3-pointer to pull Tennessee to within 60-57 with 21 seconds left.

Tennessee: DeShields arrived in Fayetteville earlier on Thursday after spending Wednesday night in San Antonio as one of three SEC student-athlete representatives at the NCAA Convention. The sophomore will rejoin the convention on Friday before traveling back to Knoxville.
Arkansas: Danberry came off the bench to score in double figures for the second straight game, the fifth time the freshman has done so this season. She was 5 of 8 from the field and added a pair of assists in 15 minutes.
