Benfica coach Jose Mourinho says his future at the club does not depend on the team making it to the Champions League qualifying rounds.
The protégé got the better of his old mentor in Portugal as FC Porto, under the presidency of Andre Villas-Boas, beat Jose Mourinho-coached Benfica to the Portuguese Primeira Liga title on Saturday.
Gianluca Prestianni deservedly received a warm ovation from Benfica fans when he entered the pitch during a 4-1 win over Moreirense at the weekend, according to his coach Jose Mourinho.
Jose Mourinho says his future at Benfica will be decided at the end of the season amid ongoing rumours he could return to coach Real Madrid.
Jose Mourinho will not make any demands to remain at Benfica next season, insisting his future "depends on the club's wishes".
